I just installed version 3.9 (build 1335) for the 1st time.
I am having problems access my music folder on a local networked computer. I get the following error when I try to test it.

"myname.subsonic.org returned HTTP error code 404 Not Found"

Steps Taken:
1) I have checked both of the following checkboxes before hitting test:
"Automatically configre your router to allow..... Public port number 80
"Access your server over the Internet using an easy-to-remember addr."

2) I have disabled all firewalls on both computers.

My hardware:
Verizon Fios Router (I am not sure where to go to setup the port.)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.[/i]

I assume you can access subsonic on the same computer, so it is running.
With most routers, you have to test this adress.subsonic.org thing from outside your lan, eg. over the internet, since the router cannot point to itself (somehow vaguely speaking^^). To access it inside a lan, just use the ip:port you asigned. To test access from outside, just ask a friend over icq or something

The 404 error message is an HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server but the server could not find what was requested.

Have you tried to "manually" use port 80 Ie. 198.45.67.10:80?
