I'm searching for a better way to control the Audio Card of my server.

I have alsa-utils installed, I can control the audio by command line with "amixer" shell command, but it's a bit "heavy" for me.

I then found this in Sourceforge.net: ajaxmixer
I tried install but it gives an error like this: 'Amixer returned an error. Maybe your webuser isnt in the audio group?'

Does any one knows, or uses the ajaxmixer?
Is there any other web-based tool like this one to easy control the server audio?
