Subsonic Forum

For some reason I cannot play music files in the PS3 web browser, the web player does not allow the play button to be clicked and no music is played. I have checked that it works on other browsers e.g. IE/Firefox on both Win/OSX and they work fine.

The PS3 supports flash 9 (i think), is there any reason it doesn't work, I have seen another thread that suggests it should.

Thanks for any help and great work on a very configurable and usable media server.

U have Java on PS3 installed?

Slight misunderstanding here, I have Subsonic installed on MAC and the PS3 is only used for playing the music using the web interface (Java not required).

The web interface uses Flash for the player however the player isn't working in the PS3 (PS3 has Flash9 - I think). Subsonic seems to be using an old version of JW player, maybe I can replace this is in the package see if that works.

Any other ideas on why flash player isn't working in the PS3 would be appreciated.

Can the version of JW Player be replaced in subsonic the current version is 5.1? I have no idea how to modify the OSX packages etc. Can anyone help?
