"ConnectTimeoutException" Error

Postby allyjweir » Tue Mar 02, 2010 6:05 pm

Hey all,
Yesterday I reinstalled Windows 7 Professional and then had to install subsonic again. I have ran into a problem which has caused me a fair bit of hassle and would be great if i could get some help with

When using the Web UI, I go into the network settings and try to set up my 'yourname.subsonic.org' address thing but every time i click test it comes up saying it is registered, but could not connect to it(ConnectTimeoutException)

Does any one have any ideas on how to solve this?
My thought was that i was using the same address as i did on the old computer but i tried changing it and got the same error.

Thanks in advanced for any help guys :)

You could try this:
Under networkoptions:
tick the box configure my router........
Also fill in the public port number you are using. Default is 80.
Then proceed to the step where you configure your subsonic.org adress.
