Hiding folder/directories

Hello, I'm using Subsonic 3.9 in an ubuntu server, My problem is how to hide certain folders on Playlist (left.jsp), I have been trying to search the forum and I can't find any specific answer, I already know about the "subsonic_exclude.txt" which was launch with version 2.8beta, but I can't find instruction how to do it with v3.9. Thank you!
