iPhone App iSub Question

This may be a stupid question, but I am trying to set up my iSub iPhone app and am running into issues. I have read through all of the problems regarding port forwarding and was able to successfully do this. Or at least I though. I also changed the URL and configured my network settings. However, when I try and sign into my phone I get the following error message:

"Either the Subsonic URL is incorrect or you are connected to Wifi but do not have internet access"

I have typed in the URL exactly as specified in the network configurations page, and have both with and without the :port. I do have internet access and have browsed Safari after getting this error to make sure.

What am I doing wrong? And how stupid am I?

Edit: I should also point out that I donated and obtained a subsonic URL, I entered
http://XXX.subsonic.com:#

Another Edit: I tested the subsonic URL and received a ConnectTimeoutException error

My issues have gotten fixed. After manually forwarding a port everything works like a charm.

Lessons learned: do it yourself and don't rely on a utility. Waste of money.
