Is there a way i can get those messages to stay? Seems like they go away after a day or two, would be nice to leave them there indefinitely because i am using it as a way to tell users about newly added music and how to use features of subsonic. Unless.....the developer would include a way for me to do this via means other than the chat function.

You can put the info for your users in the Welcome Message, something like this:

Yeah i have done that but people seem to skip right by it without even looking. The chat window is always there, so ther are bound to look at it some time.

I'm in the same boat. I'd love to the option to use it as a shoutbox
