How to migrate (3.9 to 4.0 beta1) standalone version

Hi,

I've a buch of podcast already defined in my 3.9 version (standalone) along with several music folders already configured.
I wonder how to upgrade to the standalone 4.0 beta1 version without erasing my data (db folder). Do I need to back up the db folder and erase the new created one with my backup ?

No, you should not delete your db. The page code and the data are stored in separate locations (and I think he upgrades the db if changes are made). So you just blow away the deployed app under "webapps" and replace it with the updated one and you should be good.

If you have it all setup, you just follow the instructions on the page and the music folders and all configuration settings should be remembered. I have upgraded our server many times without issues.
