I have my set up to "Automatically update search index everyday at 3". Everything seems to update properly and sacn without issue, but every morning the server has stopped and I am forced to start it manually.
Is there a way to prevent this? Until I can figure it our, I will have to turn this feature off. If I'm gone even overnight, then the server will not be accessible after the first scan.
Please Help!!
Thanks

I just did a manual update search index, and the same thing. The tray icon has the red 'X", but the server status shows "Running. Auto-start."
I am confused why this is happening. Is this the intended behavior?
Thanks

Do you have a large music collection? You probably need to increase the memory limit of Subsonic (click the tray icon, select Settings).
Hope this helps,

My memory limit is set to 256 currently. I'll try to increase to 512, but nothing else seams to be affected at my current setting.
Are there any negatives to having it set that high? Will this make it slow down my system using other apps?
Thanks

256 should be more than enough.
A good idea would be to pay attention to these logs while the search index is updating:
c:/program files/subsonic/logs/subsonic-service.log
c:/subsonic/subsonic.log
