Subsonic on VPS account

Postby tlowing » Sat May 01, 2010 4:47 pm

I'm hosted on a VPS account running CentOS and I followed the RH directions, logged in as root and sudo installed the rpm. I can start and stop the service but when I try to access one of my sites via http, nothing happens.

So my question is, how do I access Subsonic from one of the websites hosted on my VPS? What other settings do I need to make?

SUBSONIC_HOST=MY.WEBSITE.IP
SUBSONIC_PORT=8080

Thanks,

Trevor

My hosting provider, GoDaddy, blocks port 8080 for some obscure reason. Maybe it applies to yours as well.

My 2 cents
