Alert "Error"

Postby amiantos » Wed May 05, 2010 1:52 am

Donator here! When logging in or refreshing my new subsonic install, I get an "Alert http://localhost/" (or whatever url is being used to access) titled prompt that says simply "Error". If you login to http://staires.gotdns.org and use the user and password "guest" you SHOULD get the error. I don't know what is causing it.

Any help?

I logged in to your server and got the same error. I tracked it down to come from the "Now playing" list on the right which is supposed to update itself every 10 seconds.

I also noticed this warning in the log every 10 seconds:

"Failed to list children for C:\Users\Brad\Music\The Invisible\SXSW 2010 Showcasing Artists"

So this is probably related. BTW, I couldn't find "The Invisible" anywhere, has it been removed?

Anyway, if you could post the detailed information about the "Failed to list children..." error from c:/subsonic/subsonic.log that would be helpful. And restarting the server will most likely fix the problem.

Cheers

When I get home today I'll grab log entries pertaining to The Invisible. Yes, I removed The Invisible and about 1,000 other artists from my collection a couple hours after starting up my server, and did a Search Index refresh to clear them out. I guess ever since then that error has been showing up.

Hopefully restarting fixes it, but unfortunately I am not at home and can't do it for about 9 hours.
