Sorry haven't been too active on the forums for a bit because I've been so busy coding the new iSub version 2.2, so I missed this post.
There is a 2.1.1 update that fixes this issue in Apple's hands right now still waiting for review. I submitted it Tuesday. Hopefully it will hit the App Store in the next couple days, but you never know with them...
I actually didn't even know about this problem until recently because it only affects 1 in 50 or more devices for some reason. If it would have crashed all devices I would have caught it right away. None of my test phones nor the simulator crashed, so I had no idea there was even a problem until I started getting emails and 1 star ratings
I wish there was a way to flag an update as important (i.e. bug fix, not just extra features) so they would look at it faster, but then I guess everyone would just flag all their updates as important and make the distinction meaningless if they did do that.
