Subsonic Forum

Hi, I have subsonic installed on my iMac. To lower bandwidth constraints I have also used MacPorts to install Lame and enabled downsampling.
Downsampling seems to work, although in the log I see the following error for every song:

DEBUG InputStreamReaderThread (/Library/Application Support/Subsonic/transcode/lame) fatal error: can't update LAME-tag frame!

What does it mean?
And is there a way to make sure the songs are actually downsampled?

I had these errors, too. Somewhere I found that it's a problem with the latest version of lame (3.98). I replaced it with 3.97 and the errors are gone.
