I'd love to upgrade from 4.0beta2 to 4.1. I'm running the .deb version on xubuntu 10.04, and when I download the new deb for 4.1, it says Error: A later version is already installed.

I don't want to have to recreate everything, so what should I do to upgrade?

Thanks, everyone!

Do not use the graphical install tool "GDebi Package Manager".

Follow the exact instructions listed on the Subsonic webpage here:

http://www.subsonic.org/pages/installation.jsp#debian

Open the command prompt, cd to the .deb file directory and install using the following command:

Code: Select all
sudo dpkg -i subsonic-4.0.1.deb
