Moving License to New Server

Hello,

I recently bought a new computer just to use as a server, it will be coming in the mail in about a week. I currently have a Linux server which runs a licensed version of subsonic. The new server will run windows. I would like to start a subsonic server on my new computer and decommission my old server.

Can I just use the original license key I got in the email on my new server and just stop using my old server or do I have to get a new license or copy it over from the original sever? I am not really worried about copying other setting over to my new server because I have not tweaked too many aspect of subsonic on my old server.

Thanks.

I found this in a search, will it work copying from linux to windows?

I've reused my license on different servers without a problem.

Only one server is active (a couple of reinstalls and changing servers :-) )

Thanks for the quick answer! That will save me a lot of trouble.
