No playback of Apple Lossless files

Is there any way to implement playback of Apple Lossless files? The subsonic player and the iSub client both skip through the files without playback. I'm running OSX 10.6 on a Mac mini for the server and all transcodes are checked on under Subsonic settings. Thanks for any help.

you will have to create a new transcoder setting probably.
