Browser Settings missing

Subsonic works fine, but the "settings" link now has only "personal | password | players", all other settings are missing (such as transcoding, network, etc), and I have no way to access them.

What's the reason? How do I get them back?

Thanks,
Max.

I still haven't figured this out, and I would like to add some music folder locations but can't.

Anybody have had this problem before?

It sounds, like you don't use an account with administrative rights. Try the original admin account and change the settings there or use the admin-Account to edit your user and check "User is Administrator".

That's exactly my problem (thank you!), I had set up my account on another computer.

But how do I transfer administrator rights to my new computer? "User is administrator" was already checked. I figured if I logged in with the same username & password it would log me in as the admin automatically. Doesn't seem to work, though. :(

the following approach fixed things for me. Thanks.

sindre_mehus wrote:You could try the following:

1. Stop the Subsonic server
2. Delete c:\subsonic
3. Start the Subsonic server
4. Log on with username "admin" and password "admin".

Hope this helps
