"Now Playing" information inaccurate?

Hi,

I'm using Subsonic 4.0.1 on linux, with a windows media player client, over normal http (no ssl or anything).

My issue is that the "Now Playing" information is not accurate for what I'm playing or what other users are playing. I realize this is likely due to the streaming buffer causing the audio to be downloaded way in advance of being played, but I'm wondering is there something that can be done about it? I'm using the one-item-playlist method.
