Blue tooth Headphone play controls

Love Subsonic with my Droid and Motorokr S305 bluetooth headphones! However, one annoyance is that when I use the pause/play control on the headset to control subsonic (which works).. it also starts stops the droid media player. Even after I kill the media app. Well, at least it looks like I kill the app... but as soon as I hit play on the headset it gets fired back up and I have to go stop it on the droid itself.

Just wondering if anyone has found a fix for this?

Thanks!

I am also experiencing this issue on a Nexus one with Android 2.2. When the play/pause button on my bluetooth headphones is pressed, the play/pause status of both subsonic and some other app (stock music player, pandora, or google listen) is toggled.

sabbatology & wiltshi,

I had to deal with the same annoyance when I first purchased my N1. Are your phones rooted? If so install Autostarts from the Android Market. Autostarts allows you to control which apps launch after startup, which apps are triggered when bluetooth is enabled, SMS is received, pretty much every state your phone enters. If you decide to install Autostarts you two will want to check the following states/categories in Autostarts:
"Headset plugged or unplugged"
"Media button pressed"
"Audio becoming noisy"

Oddly enough when phone storage becomes low IMDB is triggered.

Yeah, I have managed to disable the bluetooth controls starting my Music or Pandora but I have still not been able to make it so that my bluetooth controls do actually control Subsonic when my screen I'm not in Subsonic with the screen on. Whenever I'm out of Subsonic or have my screen locked the controls will not skip tracks or pause/play etc in Subsonic. Any ideas how to make it work???
