Hi Everyone,
Android apps v1.2+ running on an HTC Incredible appear to have a common issue. After 3-5 songs (all mp3) it stops downloading. Powering off the device is the only way to free it to download again.
v1.3+ raises the message "error downloading "songname" /sdcard/subsonic/music/x/x/x/x/x.mp3.partial(FileNotFoundException)" in the notification area.
v1.2 does not raise the message however it also stops downloading after 3-5 songs.

All versions from v1.2+ work very well on Moto-Droid.

Any thoughts? I do find the exact symptom without resolution mentioned (by rwagter) in the forum below:

Thanks,
Tebj

I had this problem - I realised that taskiller was set to auto-kill, so was killing subsonic after a set amount of time. Maybe this is something to check?

Thanks for the suggestion bishblaize. I do not have Taskkiller running. In fact, it has been factory reset and only subsonic being the only app added. Clean device otherwise.

My Incredible works flawlessly on downloads. I was downloading music all the way to work the other day, so network conditions were less than optimal. It's odd that it works on the Moto Droid and not the Incredible.

What I would do is run an ethernet trace on your server and see which side is dropping the connection. Not the easiest thing to do if you don't have experience doing it, but it's really the only way to see why you are losing your connection.
