Hello, how can i stop the index process (os Windows 7) ?

ANd, i it possible to RE index only folders i want , keeping the index from other folders ok..
example i have tow folders A and B

First scan --ok
Now i decide only B will be updated.

So i dont need to scan A again.;

is there a way to dothat?

You should be able to turn off the search index feature completely by going to Settings > Search and saying "automatically update my search index: Never".

However, this means your search index will stop including new songs until it's re-indexed manually.

I agree that a cumulative index would be better, but that's not how it works at present. I just have my server reindex at 4am and no worries.
