Persistant connections - reported in Netstat
Hi - I've had a search but couldn't find this reported - forgive me if I'm going over old ground!
How does Subsonic handle stale connections or sessions that have not been correctly logged out?
My installation of 4.0.1 is on a Windows XP PRO SP3 server that I use to serve music and pictures. Installed on this box is Vibestreamer, Filezilla, VNC and Subsonic (thats the newest).
I was listening to music from work the other day - when I came home and looked at the box I could see that it had in excess of 15 sessions still connected to my work IP - they hadn't appeared to have disconnected and were still in the 'ESTABLISHED' state - all connected to 'subsonic_service.exe'.
Yet I know I logged out correctly and the machine that I was connected with was a laptop that was currently switched off in the back of my car.
I fear that the problem got worse and worse, the server got slower and slower and today I had to reboot it.
I've never had this with vibestreamer or with ftp connections to filezilla....any ideas?
