subsonic stops playing music when androd phone screen's off

have EVO, and started using Subsonic

With the screen on, music streams fine mostly

but when i lock the screen, the music will stop pretty soon (probably as it stops downloading)

even having (enabled always on data) does NOT solve the problem

any idea???
