Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm using Subsonic to stream to my Ipod Touch over Wifi (via I-sub) - replacing Simplifymedia 2. Does this send my tunes over the internet? In other words will I use use up my ISP's download limit to stream to my Ipod over Wi-fi? As I have a small download / upload limit, I'll soon run into problems if so.
Thanks

As long as you are streaming direct from your server ie: using your servers ip address or domain (depending how your have it setup), but if your using like your subsonic domain name you will be using your internet.

Thanks Don
I'm not sure what I'm doing! Can you tell me how to set it up so I am not using the internet, ie how to stream direct from your server ie: using my servers ip address or domain?
Atpresent, I have it set up, under Network, as access your server over the interent with the check box ticked and a subsonic.org web address set. Is that wrong?
Thanks for your help.

I think Don meant in your iSub client on your iPod. Make sure that the address is your local IP (ie 192.168.1.x) and not the web address. Hope that helps.
