upgrade
Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2010 1:06 pmI have been using Subsonic 3.9 standalone. I recently got my phone updated to android 2.1 and have to reinstall everything. The new android client won't work with 3.9 and I need to put the new subsonic on my server. Is there an easy way to up grade, say just replace a file in the standalone directory or do I need to do a complete uninstall and reinstall.
I'm running ubuntu and I saw where there is a new ubuntu release. Would I be better off taking my subsonic version off and doing the new ubuntu release?
Also I saw where some folks are having issues with the latest version of subsonic locking up. One person said to disable chat. Is Subsonic 4.0.1 stable?
