Hello,
It has been driving me crazy. Took me awhile but go the connection to work with my WiFi. When I turn the WiFi off I cannot connect using my 3G network. I have looked and looked but getting burned out on it. I am pretty good at technical things but for some reason I am just not catching what I am doing wrong. I have a Motorola Droid rooted and using Windows 7 Ultimate. My router is a Linksys WRT160Nv3. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gabe

Update:
Ok, I closed my Subsonic and went to the demo and connected to my 3G just fine. Then I went to my server and all of the sudden it worked. I figured out what is going on. For some reason the subsonic software may not be automatically refreshing itself. I turned on my WiFi and went to my server. Sure enough could not connect. Went to the demo connected fine and then went back to my server and then it worked. It is vice versa for the 3G as well. Maybe there can be some kind of refresh option for an update in the next release?

Hi,
Are you using a ***.subsonic.org address for your personal server?

Hi,
I'm having a similar problem. I keep getting the message:
"Status: fezo.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (ConnectTimeoutException) "
the Port Forwarding test indicates that port forwarding was successful.
This on a machine running Windows Vista; everything worked fine till about two weeks ago.
Thanks!
Check the addressing...

My router will not turn my external address back around to my internal network.
To use on my WiFi, I need to use the 192.168.x.x (insert yours) address of the Subsonic server.
On 3G, I connect to the external address or the xxxx.subsonic.org
I simply made an internal and external entry in my phone and select the one I need. Not elegant, but it works.
