Error Window After Log In

I've been using Subsonic for quite some time with about a dozen users. I've had no real issues to speak of. Only recently, when I, or any of my users, log in we get a generic window that pops up that says error. Everything seems to work ok after closing the error box, except that I am not seeing what others are playing. (which worked perfectly previously). In Firefox it simply shows me the local IP address in the top of the error box: "192.168.1.XXX says:" then "Error" inside the box. In Windows Internet Explorer it shows: "The Web Page Says" then "Error" in the box.

I have not made any changes to my set up and everything seems to be working properly with the exception of viewing what others are playing (which works on my iSub client).

Any ideas?
Thanks
BP

My friend runs a Subsonic server on a 100Mbps line at a datacenter... last week it had this issue too. Around the same time, an admin on the server was tinkering with VMware. (Subsonic ran on the box, not in a VM though).

He rebooted the server that night and it didn't come back up. We're not sure why because the server owner hasn't had a chance to get out to the datacenter yet to fix the issue...

If I find out anything useful about our problem, I'll let you know.

For now my generic solutions are "have you restarted the Subsonic process lately? A lot of times that fixes stuff for me." and "Does Subsonic have enough memory? Try upping the memory limit."

Cheers,
Kirk

Thanks a million!!! Restarting the server solved it. (Why didn't I think of that??)

I don't think it is a memory issue, I have it set to 512, and it rarely runs over 175 (250-300 occasionally when its loading). And in the past, a memory issue would prevent the left hand form to load. This time everything seemed to work fine. Weird!

Thanks again for your help!!
