Another jukebox problem..

Its simple I can use remote desktop to my server and play the music through my stereo. I can stream the music to play through my own pc using the web player. But if I use the jukebox player on my PC to play on the server.....silence. Has there actually been an answer to this?
Running Ubuntu 10.04 on both machines with the installer package version of Subsonic. Desperate to get this workign as its everything I've been looking for - in a piece of software that is
