EDIT -- For some reason, search is now working. I have no idea why - maybe it took 10+ hours to index and work. Pretty stumped, logs showed no failures beforehand or any change post working search. Very happy though, just finished donating...Subsonic is awesome.

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been addressed, but I could not find a similar thread.

I recently installed the latest stable version atop a Fedora 13 server. Song search seemed to be working, but then I received a 503 error from the web server. Searching the forum showed that the quickest way to resolve this would be via a full uninstall and reinstall of Subsonic. I hadn't customized very much and I was the only user, so this was no big deal.

However, now search is broken. I tried updating to the latest beta as well, but problem still persists. Searching ANYTHING quickly yields a 'No Matches Found' message.

Any feedback? Since this is a virtual machine with the only purpose being to function as a Subsonic server, if I have to start from scratch I can...just curious as to why this is happening and what I can do before the nuclear option.

I've found Index only works if the computer where Subsonic is hosted it's running at the selected Time for "Scan media folders" under Settings>>>Media Folder or if you press the link "Scan Media Folders Now".
