Flash plug-in stops working in OSX?

Subsonic used to work fine in Safari with the latest Flash plug-in, but stopped working a while ago. When I try to play something, it just downloads an m3u file instead of loading the song in a flash plug-in.

I decided to make a Fluid.app version of Subsonic yesterday, and it worked well for a while. Flash loaded fine and I could listen. Since booting back into Mac from Bootcamp (where Safari and Chrome both play Subsonic perfectly), I now have the same problem with my Fluid.app version.

I do have ClickToFlash installed, but that is Safari only (plus, subsonic is on my whitelist and used to work). Plug-ins, Java, Javascript are all enabled.

Why does the Flash plug-in stop working? Is there nobody else with this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: For the record, Flash works on every other site I use with Flash.

You do have your player (Settings > Players) set to web player right?

Also is that the player you're trying to use in the web interface (there is a drop down menu near the bottom above the playlist that lets you select which player you're using)?

Because your computer keeps trying to download a .m3u file it sounds like your player is set to "external player" or "external player with playlist" and not "web player".

Yeah, I already made sure it was set to Web Player. However, I never noticed that drop down menu until you mentioned it. I'm in Windows at the moment (and listening to Subsonic sans problems), but I'll report back once I boot back into Mac. Thanks.

Changing players fixed this issue, by the way. The weird thing is I immediately switched back to the original player I was using and it now works again, too. Thanks for the help.
