not all offline files have track numbers. why is that?
Posted: Sat Sep 18, 2010 12:53 amI have been using subsonic for a few months now and have been using it to stream to my android device. I have a larger sd card and don't always like having to stream so i will cache the songs. when i navigate to the albums while online the albums display the songs in the proper order. if i select the "offline" server and go to the album there it shows the album songs in alphabetical order.
this is where it gets strange to me. i have one album that i know of that DOES show the tracks in the correct order. when online the tracknames to not have a number preceding the name but when offline that particular album does show show a tracknumber preceeding the track name.
The only difference I was able to see in the metadata is that in the track number id3 also has a "total tracks" number ie track 3 of 10. I thought that may have been it but when i added the "total tracks" to another album and downloaded that to the phone through subsonic it did not have the track number preceeding the trackname.
Anyone have any suggestions?
