some songs not playing after update

First of all, I love this program. I use it every day at work. Unfortunately, I'm having some issues that I don't understand.

I am using the Subsonic 4.1 client on Windows 7. I have been using subsonic on this server for at least 8 months without a problem. After the latest software upgrade (4.1) I find that certain albums do not play unless I skip forward a few seconds into the song. After I do that, the song will play through but then not play the next track. This seems to happen in all browsers and computers that I try. It doesn't happen with all albums though.

Any ideas?

Can you please provide an excerpt from the Subsonic log when it tries to play one of these songs?

Is it playing it as a raw MP3 or sending it through a transcoder?

You might try using an external player such as WinAmp or VLC, and see if the problem exists there.

Cheers,
Kirk

Nothing out of the ordinary. I have played all of the songs externally and they are fine. Beats me.

anyone have any ideas? I've tried renaming the index file to create a new one. No dice.

I just bit the bullet and completely removed and re-installed subsonic 4.1. It still doesn't work. What I have found out is that the songs only have an issue with the flash player. When I open them in a .pls file everything is fine. Interesting...
