Add all music to a playlist
Posted: Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:42 pmIs there a way to add all music to a playlist easily. I would like to be able to start my player and play everything.
As far as I know, the m3u playlist format is just a text file with a list of the full paths to the songs on that playlist with "#EXTM3U" on its own on the first line.
So you could just generate a file with all that in it and save it where your playlists live.
This would be trivial do do using 'find' on linux, am sure something similar can be done for other OSes.
