4.1 Java error. How do I increase memory on a Mac?

Hi, so I'm getting a java error when I try to open SubSonic 4.1. I've read elsewhere in the forum that this could be a memory issue, but I can't find the settings on the Mac version to increase the memory SubSonic uses. Does anyone know how to do this?
