One of my folders cannot be accessed from Android
One of my folders cannot be accessed from Android. I get an error message: "A network error occurred. Retrying 4 of 4." And then another error message: "A network error occurred. Please check the server address or try again later."
I can access ALL of my music folders from the desktop browser.
I have Nine folders in the root of my MUSIC folder. Eight of these folders contain between 1 and 30 GB of mp3 files. Each of these folders is organized with many sub-folders. I have no problem accessing eight of the nine folders.
The single folder that I cannot access from the Android, contains 150GB of mp3 files, well organized with sub folders.
Here is what I discovered: There seems to be a limit of about 30 to 40 GB maximum of mp3 files in each root folder, including the sub folders.
The folder that I cannot access becomes fully accessible if I remove all but about 35GB of files.
Is it just me? Is this by design? Is there a work around? Is it a folder limit OR file limit OR Gigabytes limit?
I know that I can break this folder up into 5 or more folders, but before I do, has someone else figured this out? Is there a way to make this work without dividing the large folder into smaller folders at the root level?
