Android App Sort Order

It appears that the android app, as well as the web app, is sorting songs by their track number. Not all of my mp3 files have the track number set in the tags, so my listing is disjointed, with songs by the same artist in different places. Is there a way to have subsonic sort by the artist or sort by the filename?

Why does subsonic assume that the contents of a folder contain only one album?

Is there a way for subsonic to simply treat a folder just as a plain folder?
