Android app Service lingers forever

Hi, I love both the server app and the client app.
The only thing that bothers me is that exiting the main app leaves the SubSonic service aliveforever and this has a major drawback: it keeps listening for key presses.
I have a pair of earplugs+mic with a button that very usefully pauses and restart the playing. If I exit the SubSonic app and launch another Audio Player app, and then press the button expecting it to pause the other app, it instead respawn the SubSonic playing list.

The only workaround I've found is going in "running services" and killing SubSonic service.
Is this fixable?

Thank you.

Actually, it's not a matter of the service remaining around: even id the service is killed, pressing the button always respawn SubSonic, even if I'm listening to some other application.

Are you clicking the X in the top right corner or using the back button?
