Errors/timeout trying to find my server

Postby Backno » Sat Nov 06, 2010 3:19 am

So far I have a static IP, forwarded the correct ports on my router, disabled windows firewall and yet Subsonic is unable to find my server. I did every thing the start up guide said to the letter and I am really, really frustrated.
I donated money so this would be simple and it's turned into a giant pain in the backside

I am getting "the server is resisted, but could not connect to it (ConnectTimeoutException)

So how do I fix this?

Thank you for the link, and no teh port is not able to eb found

So from more trouble shooting I have narrowed it down to somthing on my computer but I am unable to find the issue. I run Vista with all teh updates and have the firewall turned off. Any ideas on some things I can check that will fix this?

If the port isn't visible, the SPI firewall on the router isn't accepting your pinhole data. Try re-entering it, fully rebooting after, and try canyouseeme.org again.

Can you give a few more details about your server? What are you running SS on? What port are you trying to use for SS?
