Try restarting the service.. What OS is it running on?

Are you trying to access your server with your xxxxx.subsonic.org address? If so try using http://localhost:port number or the ip address of your pc followed by the port number. So if you are running subsonic on port 4040 the address will either look like http://localhost:4040 or http://192.168.X.X:4040

im running snow leopard server 10.6.4.

I've tried 192.168.1.xxx:4040. I get an error cant find server.
I try my sub name thedecline.subsonic.org and it brings me to the main subsonic page.

I deleted the subsonic app and the app support folder. Reinstalled and that didnt work.

restarted apache that didn't work

i cant understand why local will not work

I fixed the problem some how the subsonic folder in the application support folder was empty. once i reloaded it, it work.....

But I just updated to 10.6.5 it broke the connection again. I check to see if the folder was missing or incomplete but everything is there. Back to the drawing board again.......
