Upload only working with ZIP-files < 60 MB

Hello,

after setting up Subsonic I am really excited about the possibilities of this great program. Thanks, Sindre! Since I am setting this up as a platform for listening to music of my friends also, I am interested especially in uploading ZIP-files to my server. However, it seems that I can only upload files smaller than 60 MB. If a file is bigger, there is a error message shortly after.

I looked at "top" while uploading a file, and it seems as the incoming file is buffered in RAM, before it is written to the hd. As my dockstar has only 128 MB RAM, this seems to be the cause for the error - is it? Is there a way to change this behavior, or do my friends have to upload their files in smaller chunks?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Anima

Okay - it seems like no one had this error ever before... :(

Is there no one who could help me nevertheless?

Have you tried bumping up the Memory limit in the SS control panel (Settings Tab)?

Hello GJ51,

No, I didn“t try that. Thanks for your advice! I will write again if this did the trick.

Greetings!
