Have tried everything now, and still not able to play wma files larger than 128 Kbps.
I see here that some people use "wmadec" in transcode line..
Is the wmadec a part of ffmpeg !! or do i need to install separately on my Centos Server.. if so, what files to install ??
Thnks

Might be the version of the ffmpeg on your server.
It should support wma with no issues.
I am running on a windows box right now and it works OK with wma

Anybody know the way to upgrade to the latest ffmpeg without causing damage? I'd like to see if it solves an issue with playing video in SS.
Thanks for any hints.

Since it is just command line I would confirm if the new version uses the same command line set. That open source project I don't think would release a version that was not backward compatible.
