As soon as I boot my music server running subsonic I get a windows error that lame.exe has crashed, report to ms etc. I just leave it up or even click don't send, and subsonic seemed to run ok. But 4.2 is not working at all, not sure if it is related.

What is the version of lame.exe on your setup?

3.98.2
I'll go look for a newer one

Installed newer lame.exe will see if it does the same thing or not.
