Flash Player Won't Start By Itself

When I try to play a song, the progress bar signifying the loading goes all the way across the player. The song never starts playing. Clicking anywhere on the progress bar to jump a few seconds causes it to work. When it gets to the end of the song it will do the same for the next in the queue.

This is occurring on:
1) My internal network and over the internet
2) On a Windows machine and on a Linux machine.

Any ideas?

Oh. And these are all MP3 files so no transcoding needed.

A little more info. This is in both Firefox (Win and Linux) and IE (Win).

Which SS ver.

I've not seen this happen on my servers. I've got one on WHS and the other is on Server 2008R2. If I couldn't find an easy fix, like clearing the browser cache, doing a stop/start of SS on the server, maybe a few reboots, then I would uninstall and reinstall SS.

Also make sure your flash and Java are up to date.

If you use flashblock plugin add your domain (or IP) to whitelist (flashblock preferences). This solved some problem with a flashplayer. To start play click on first track from playlist or to right-arrow (right from flash player)...
