Picking a Jukebox
Posted: Mon Dec 06, 2010 8:10 pmFirst and foremost, I absolutely LOVE Subsonic and have used it for months now with no trouble at all and have yet to find any flaw.
My question or help request isn't that of a technical nature but more of an opinion question.
Recently I bought a new surround sound system with more than enough HDMI & Composite inputs. I see that there is Jukebox mode for Subsonic but have never had a real reason to enable and use it...until now!
So if anyone has any recommendations of what setup to use as a jukebox player please share your opinion and/or experiences setting one up.
Ideally, I would prefer a stand alone box that I can give an IP address and let songs play via it through to my surround sound system.
