Strange audio from streams

I got subsonic installed on my Fedora Core 4 system with tomcat. Everything seems to be working ok, except when you play a song it plays kinda choppy or like it is overlaped with all these clicky sounds....it's very strange and hard to decribe, but the point is that it definately is not playing the song as it would if you just played it via real player or any other player.

Help???

Hi kiwi,
I haven't heard of this problem before. What player are you using? Maybe you could try a different player, for instance XMMS or VLC.
