Hi,
im running subsonic on my little Windows PC. It all works fine...

BUT

my whole music is on a big NAS in my network. I linked the folder in WindowsExplorer as "Z:\Music" (Networkdrive). If i setup this folder as a music folder in subsonic, it says "no musicfolder found...". A local drive (c:\music) works.

How do i get subsonic linked to my music on my NAS???
Does anyone know :?
Please help

I found this one too but it doesnt work. Here is what i have right now:

NAS: User=user1 Pwd:password1
PC with subsonic: User=user2 Pwd:password2
Subsonic: User=user3 Pwd:password3

In the subsonic service, which logon i have to take? From the NAS or from the PC??

First before testing turn off authentication on NAS. Configure SS to work with a NAS.

Ok. Did it.

First i added a new user to SS and to NAS which is the same to the one on the WinServer.

I opend the Music Folder on the NAS so no Pwd is required and added the folder to SS.

Now it works :P

...but unsave. Think i have to play a bit around with passwords... The next step is the Transcoding to get the bitrate down to 64k to stream fast on my iphone.
