Download hangs on second pre-load track everytime [Android]

If this was posted elsewhere, I'm sorry; I looked around and didn't see anything similar. When I queue up an album, the first track loads and plays fine, but the second starts to download, and hangs. For example: it'll stop at 4.32mb then just flash 4.32mb, retrying over and over. if i select another song manually it downloads that and plays without a hitch, but again, the first track it tries to preload hangs. I've tried deleting the music folder, rolling back to 4.1, and i still get this issue. This all happens while using the android client, btw. Anyone else out there have this problem? :?

Edit: Pokin' around my subsonic log I noticed this after trying again:
[12/10/10 7:36:58 PM EST] WARN FileUtil Failed to list children for e:\mp3\Disclose\Yesterday's Fairytale, Tomorrow's Nightmare
[12/10/10 7:37:08 PM EST] WARN FileUtil Failed to list children for e:\mp3\Disclose\Yesterday's Fairytale, Tomorrow's Nightmare

Could this have anything to do with it? Everytime subsonic retries the download it registers to my last.fm account. S'gonna get me banned if this keeps up. O_o

Does this happen on other servers? Have you tested on the demo server?

You first need to determine if the problem is on the phone or the server.

I'm having this as well. Checking the log yields this

fatal error: can't update LAME-tag frame!

Yeah, the demo server is fine. Subsonic's worked flawlessly since I got it in September; The only thing I changed is the server version...updated to 4.2. but even rolling back didn't fix. This has only been happening for about three days.

You probably need to stop the SS service. Delete the subsonic directory, make sure your Java is up to date, then reinstall SS. I upgraded my 3 SS servers a couple days ago and all three are running fine. The only thing I had to do was uncheck the box in the properties box for the SS service on the Log On tab that allowes interaction with the desktop. If you don't do that you get an error popup when you log in through the browser.
