Flash Player Won't Work and Video Transcoding
I setup Subsonic this morning around 5:30, played a song on my phone (Android), and went to bed. I woke up, started playing some music on my laptop (streaming from the desktop, where I installed Subsonic), then saw a Lifehacker article saying video could be streamed. I followed the tutorials I found (original here and the update is here.) and now Flash player doesn't work, nor does adding to a playlist in any fashion. It just says "Get Flash player."
This same result occurs in Chrome 8.0.552.515 and Firefox 3.6.8 (I'm running Win 7, the desktop is running Fedora 12). I installed an external Flash player to augment the one built into Chrome, and no luck.
The video files I would be running are .mkv and I was following the guides to transcode to .flv, if that matters (I'm sure it does).
One final thing: Is it possible to stream video to the Android app? If so, how? Haha.
Thanks for the help in advance.
