Several issues persist if Subsonic is accessed via HTTPS
Hey all,
I have Subsonic 4.2 installed on CentOS 5.5. Via Apache 2.2.3, I'm able to access Subsonic over HTTPS; however, it's configured so I can access it clear or encrypted during my configuration and testing process. Once I have it ready for prime time, I hope to close HTTP access.
I've found and resolved several issues already, all related to accessing Subsonic over HTTPS, however there are several more remaining. I've gone through the Forums like crazy but have not found any solutions to those issues below; from how it sounds, most people have had success with HTTPS via Apache, so I'm curious what I've done wrong. Here are the issues and please provide any ideas/solutions or feel free to ask for further details:
Please NOTE: In each issue below, if I access Subsonic over HTTP, this is NOT an issue; the issue *only* arises if I access Subsonic over HTTPS.
1) Flash Player is not recognised. Instead of the web player being visible, I have a link stating, "Get Flash Player".
2) Regardless the player chosen (Web Player, External Player, or External Player with playlist), I am unable to play any songs. I did not test Jukebox.
3) I'm unable to create a playlist. No errors appear but rather it's like clicking on something that is not really a link.
4) Selecting "Download" results in, "The requested URL /download.view was not found on this server"
5) If I select "Users", the statistical graphs do not appear.
I'm sure there will be more to come...
I have tested the above issues in the clear and encrypted in the following browsers:
Chrome 8.0.552.224
IE 8.0.7600.16385
FF 3.6.10
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
