Subsonic Setup Issues

So I just installed an instance of subsonic, and it works by accessing localhost

However, it seem that my Belkin N+ router will not forward the ports - I've tried to set up ports 8080 and port 80 (both TCP and UDP) to be forwarded to my computer, but whenever I try to access it via <IP Address>:8080 it just times out.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this further? I've tried almost everything I could think of

Your address comes back as Trial Expired.

When logged in to SS and settings, in Network, does it show as successfully forwarding your chosen port? Is 'automatically configure' checked or unchecked?

Yes, but it say successfully configured on port 80, even when I have the subsonic-agent run on port 8080.

When I type in valirus.subsonic.org within my network it resolves to the ocal TP - 192.168.1.4 but when I type it in from outside the network it resolves to my public facing IP and times out.

It sounds as if you have a corrupted install (service parameters aren't matching the Properties folder). I'd try deleting the c:/subsonic folder, and re-installing. After install, set the port using the console, stop service/restart service and then try opening the port in the router.
